Office Refurbishment and additional car park
This refurbishment project involved an additional car park, with external blue brickwork clad, and two main feature stonework pillars at the entrance way - each over 14 metres high.
These feature pillars were the main showpiece of the project, consisting of various shaped pieces of stone weighing up to 6.5 tonnes. They were installed using a remote-contolled mini crane operated by a trained FastFix operator.
A number of design and access issues were successfully overcome, including working in and around scaffolding. The quality of the end result is there for all to see as you drive up the Hagley Road in Birmingham.
